Gorgeous but Easy Braid Tutorials  (This is one I need for myself! For some reason I cannot braid my own hair!)


Almond and Olive oil are rich in  essential fatty acids  which help to strengthen cracked & dry nails

Lip balm can also be used to moisturize cuticles especially those with shea butter and Vitamin E.. (a drop of Olive oil works equally well)



Lightly powder eyelashes  so the mascara will cling  to your lashes so they appear fuller. (be sure to be careful with this as it may amplify ‘spider eyes’ that many get when they use regular mascara. (I use Cover girl’s clear mascara & NEVER have this problem & that is without using the powder)   Another good thing about the clear mascara… you can see when it’s time to buy a new one. (normally it’s 3-6 months you need to get rid of mascara)

Create the illusion of well rested eye  using a flesh toned pencil to line the lower INNER rims of your eyes.

 Body & Skin

Detox you body by eating these foods-

Never pull the skin around your eyes This will cause lines and sagging. Gently dab on moisturizer, concelers, primers, foundation

Snack on apples WITH the skin on it helps the skin look healthy and smooth

Drink herbal or green tea at least once a day to help detox your system

Reduce blemishes by drinking a glass of lemon water each day

Aloe vera Gel  works as a toner it tightens pores and makes them appear smaller.

Dab acne with nasal drops, which shrink blood vessels and take away redness

Vitamin A & E are very important for the skin they help fight  lines & wrinkles.

(Vitamin E is also great for preventing scars. But you have to start to use it a few days after the initial scrape cut etc. (I usually wait about 2-3 days , you can purchase the Vitamin E gel pills. &  puncture it with a pin & just squeeze it directly onto the wound. I usually do this 2-3 times a day & right before bed so 4)

If you suffer with sensitive or spot prone skin, try & stick to natural products where possible, in order to not cause irritations/breakouts

When washing you face, don’t forget your eyebrows! Makeup and impurities can be trapped in the brows which can cause acne.


Honey brightens, tightens, & fights wrinkles & acne. Honey Facial: Smear onto face let sit for 1-3mins, rinse with warm water, pat dry

The most important thing you can do for your skin is to drink as much water as possible each and every day. See clearer results

To fix puffy eyes or dark circles: Brew two green tea bags, and let them cool. Then lie down and place them over your eyes for 10 minutes.

Ice cube facial. – reduces pore size and keeps wrinkles away.

To help heal acne scars, combine cocoa butter and vitamin E. Smooth over scars.

 (Zi’s Note…. this works for any scars! but it is best to do it before the scratch/sore heals that way there will be alot less scarring! (trust me on this one! I’ve had a really bad fall on my knees and using this I hardly have any dark scars left!)

Kiwi is a great fruit to eat if you want to preserve your young skin. Kiwi is high in antioxidants, potassium, and vitamin C.
