11 Make-up and Toiletry Organizers…people swear by

Or try a deluxe organizer for your shadows, glosses, and other little things: Heck I could use this not just for make up etc. but for a desk organizer, even a display to sell jewelry and crafts I made!

I have loads of make up old or new, and YES I know the old needs to be chucked out, but I just love the color too much and its no longer sold. I still have my old Caboodles carry case as well as my big Sassaby one both in storage (I would swear in mine there’s an extra compartment that you could put hair sprays in)  but I would like something other than the drawer in my bureau for my make-up (plus whatever is on top of it) I have a caboodles or whatever organizer as well, (again in storage) but that may end up being desk fodder at some point instead.  This one on the right I like for the top of my bureau as you can see everything in it. I juts don’t know if there will be enough clearance as mine is also a hutch.

That hanging bag I do love for travel a well as the toiletry set (I have something like it) but for that much money I’ll stick to the Michael Kohrs (sp?) hanging toiletry bag I got as a hand me down. (I won’t buy brand name stuff but I’m not against getting it free or in a Thrift store! (but then I usually don’t notice it is as I don’t really look at the names, just the style and if I’ll like it on me)

What I need for a make-up organizer is not just make up but side holders (good size ones) for at least 5-10 bottles of Perfume and same for lotions!

How To Look Like A Million Dollars Even If You Aren’t A Millionaire

We all know Millionaires have their eccentricities but their fashion much of the time I question more than my own.

Necklines, there’s Trashy and there’s elegant…be elegant.  If you wear those platform shoes around me and fall or anything in front of me… YES I AM laughing at you. They look ridiculous

size is my problem… a lot of the time I can’t find a comfortable women’s t-shirt. No matter what size I can fit into Xl or double the shoulders always feel so small. Also I like air flow I always feel hot and tighter clothes make it worse. Also I have some super over large shirts and sweat shirts to wear around the house. They just feel more cozy than a regular nightgown (plus if I have a last minute guest, no matter how big the shirt is I’m sure to have one that will fit you! Then I have a larger zippered sweat jacket that I have so in case I wear something under it but its from Canada so likely I won’t get cold in it, (unless I go upstate)

under the combining colors, that blazer does not look navy blue, it looks black and to me, nothing looks wrong with it. Those not crazy for what the girl in the black & white outfit is wearing. Too boring…

as for the jewelry… even if you wear all one type of metal/color limit up to 2 rings on a hand. (your engagement/wedding band on one & 2 on the other if you must. For me it just looks like you are showing off and therefore telling the muggers to do so.

8 Simple tricks to sooth and heal dry cracked fingertips this winter

This is the time of year (well in the states at least) where nails can become brittle and skin very dry even to the point of cracking! I wouldn’t suggest the superglue, that can lead to making things worse as it pulls your skin off. Before going out with or without gloves put on a thick lotion or some vaseline type all over your hands (and if you will be outside without face protection put it on your face especially your T-zone (that of your forehead and nose) Use moisturizer everyday.
When You take a shower don’t use too hot of water as that can also strip your skin of moisture (surprisingly right?) While I am still int he shower with the water on, I rub some babyoil on everywhere esp. that which is usually exposed to the elements or just ends up getting cold first!) I rinse off. before I towel dry I use a little more especially On my feet, hands and arms (the spots that feel dry or usually end up feeling itchy during the winter.)
You also don’t want the heat in your house too high… as that can be stripping the moisture. Might I suggest a humidifier even if it’s just on your bedside table at night.
But be sure especially if you work outside… keep lotion with you, and put it on every time after your wash your hands and before you put your gloves back on or go back to work. My dad’s fingers would get so dry they’d split and man did it look like it hurt! (honestly just looking at it would bring a tear to my eye)
You want ones that are thick, not watery like those perfumey type of lotions. Think of ‘body butter’ that’s creamier than a lotion. So its more ‘cream than lotion that you are looking for. Here are some of the products my dad uses as well as I have in the past or still do!
For those of you that have this problem, Udderly Smooth (udder cream) or the O’keefe’s brand is great to use.. I think my dad used to also have something in a square tin as well..
All Natural Balm , Burt’s Bees, Neutrogena, .. Nivea is also good, I tin kit’s one of the thickest lotions…err Cream I have seen!
my Favorite is the Lotions like Dream Cream  and the Vaseline like (ultra Balm  at Lush (which is a vegan product) Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Lemony Flutter.. really it’s cuticle butter but it has a nice lemon smell that I use it as a  cream balm as well!
If you go to the nail salon, get a manicure especially if they warm the lotions~! The Salon I go to uses warm lotion, and feels so much more soothing than just rubbing in the lotion.
Also I suggest using a pumice stone to remove any dry skin from your hands (etc body) you need to exfoliate that dry skin off. then put your lotion balm or whatever on.  I know there are some that just use a little olive oil to prevent their hands from cracking and skin from drying. (always best to put oils or the lotions on when you still have some beads of water on you from your shower.

Period Panties….are they really a thing?

After seeing this headline “The Lowdown on Period Panties” for a blog I thought,  seriously?

I never knew they existed, frankly I prefer to use an older pair of underwear, especially a little loose, room for bloating. These look tight and uncomfortable. (Plus I have a hip & back problem and anything tight on that area aggravates them)

What are the prices…. (which I somehow knew I’d NEVER spend for one pair) the highest price is $38  the cheapest is $24.00 for a freaking pair of underwear!  Let alone going without using a tampon (or pad) GROSS if they came in a pack of 2 each for Light medium & heavy days  for The $38 THEN I might consider it, no WONDER they are offering $10 toward your bill to try them. Frankly unless they want to offer me a pair to try (whatever would be briefs) and see how I like them, they won’t get my money. Frankly I think they should offer beauty and health blogs that option no matter how many followers they have.

For the price of them… I’d rather just buy an extra package of underwear and save the rest of the money for a rainy day. or go order the fabric I would need to make a pair myself with what I already have. I’m sure it would be much cheaper! after all you only need about 3-4 inches of each fabric to cover.

P.s. for those of you like me that can’t afford these underwear…. any accidents… Use peroxide, gets the stain out awesomely!
